1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Ourwatch platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
3. Rental Terms & Conditions
All rentals are agreements between the host (watch owner) and the client (renter), facilitated by Ourwatch. Rental periods, pricing, and security deposits are set by hosts and confirmed at checkout. Clients are responsible for returning watches in the same condition they were received, subject to normal wear expectations.
4. User Responsibilities
Hosts agree to provide accurate descriptions and photographs of their watches, maintain watches in the condition described, and ship items promptly within the agreed timeframe.
Clients agree to handle rented watches with reasonable care, return them by the agreed date, and report any issues promptly through the platform.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Ourwatch to list counterfeit or stolen items, misrepresent the condition or authenticity of watches, engage in fraudulent transactions, harass other users, or circumvent the platform's payment or communication systems.
6. Security Deposits & Payments
Security deposits are held via Stripe and released after the watch is returned in satisfactory condition. Ourwatch facilitates payments between hosts and clients but is not a party to rental agreements. Service fees are disclosed at checkout.
7. Limitation of Liability
Ourwatch provides a platform connecting hosts and clients. We are not responsible for the condition, authenticity, or value of watches listed by hosts. Our liability is limited to the fees paid to Ourwatch for platform services.
8. Dispute Resolution
Disputes between hosts and clients should first be resolved through the platform's messaging system. If a resolution cannot be reached, Ourwatch offers a mediation process. For matters that cannot be mediated, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
